Hello Justice HS Students, Families, and Community Members: headshot

As you know, COVID-19 cases have been increasing in Fairfax County and in schools. Here at Justice High School, we are grateful that we have not seen a big increase in case numbers, and continue to encourage everyone to take the steps they feel necessary to stay safe and healthy.

We have been transparent about how the pandemic is impacting Justice and our students all year. We will continue to share daily COVID-19 notifications whenever there is a confirmed positive case in our school. This information is provided to make our school community aware of the current situation and be able to make informed decisions about how to protect themselves.

I appreciate the patience, support, and understanding you have shown throughout this school year as we adjust our response to the pandemic. Together, we have kept our students participating in learning and activities. I look forward to celebrating the end of the school year with everyone.

Read below for additional amazing opportunities and important news for students and parents. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Wolf Pack Mentors -We Need Pack Leaders!

It is with great pleasure that I share we will continue our Wolf Pack Mentor Program in the 2022-2023 school year.  This program relies on Pack Leader volunteers from the senior and junior classes to peer mentor our incoming freshmen to support their transition into the high school environment.  Volunteers are expected to attend a three-hour training in August the week prior to school starting.  In addition, volunteers will attend a monthly mentor training & mentor-mentee meeting.  This involves a bit over an hour of service each month and occurs within the school day.

If you have a rising junior or senior who would be a great mentor and would like to earn community service hours, please email Boutia Pourhashemi at bpourhashemi@fcps.edu with your student’s name and ID and I will share the official sign up form with them via email.  Thank you so much for your support of this program!
