Our 5th and 6th graders performed their Spring Band Concert this week, under the direction of band director Steve Lovecchio, for their their peers during the school day and families in the evening. Fun Run on Wednesday, June 1st
Students will wear field day colors for the fun run on Wednesday.

Laptop Collection
All student laptops, chargers and MiFi’s will be collected prior to the end of the school year. To support our collection, the following dates will be used to collect student laptops:
K-2 students who checked out a laptop to use at home during the school year should return them no later than Friday, June 3rd. If your child will be attending an FCPS summer program (ESY or SOAR), they still need to turn in their laptops on the dates listed above. They will be issued a different laptop to use for summer program use only. If your child needs a device to support summer learning and is not enrolled in an FCPS summer program, please contact your classroom teacher.
If your laptop or charger is lost, please contact the office and we will send payment instructions. Laptops cost approximately $481 and charger costs approximately $30, depending on the model you were issued. Any device not returned by Monday, June 13 will be considered lost and families will be billed.
Yearbooks for Sale
We have a limited supply of yearbooks that will go on sale Tuesday, June 7 at 8:05-8:25 AM, in the front lobby. The cost of the yearbook is $20.00. Please send in cash and the exact amount for the number of yearbooks you would like to purchase. Yearbooks will be sold the week of the 6th until all copies are gone.
Medication Pick Up
All student medication must be picked up prior to dismissal on the last day of school. Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded. Medication can only be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student. Please contact Ms. Fick, our health room aide at 703-227-5410 if you have additional questions.

Come and enjoy a day with our community and Public Safety family. Food, drinks, games, therapy dogs, K9s, cruisers, robots, helicopters, etc. will be a part of our day. All are welcome to attend.
Chantilly Academy Hosts CyberCamp | Rising Grades 5-8
Chantilly Academy is supporting STEM and cybersecurity education by hosting an AFA CyberCamp this summer! This camp welcomes students of all skills levels, so we encourage anyone interested in cybersecurity to register! The camp is for anyone looking to learn about cybersecurity!
Register to attend the AFA CyberCamp being hosted by Chantilly Academy. This is an opportunity to learn the importance of cybersecurity and gain the skills to protect yourself and others from cyber threats on a variety of operating systems! Recommended grades are rising 5th-8th.
