Principal's Message

Dear Shrevewood Families,

What an amazing week it has been at Shrevewood. Teacher Appreciation week was in full swing! Teachers and staff certainly felt the love after receiving so many gifts, customized coffee orders, kind letters and so much more. It is a joy to educate your children and see them grow as learners and individuals. SOL testing started this week and will continue over the next 2 weeks. Please see the schedule below for more information. We have many events taking place towards the end of the year and would love to see students and their families participate so we can end the year strong.

We hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Teacher Appreciation Week

On behalf of our entire staff, THANK YOU so much for the abundance of appreciation we felt this week. Staff enjoyed massages, breakfast burritos, ice cream, endless treats and gifts and more. But best of all were the notes and cards written by families and students thanking their teachers and other staff for their hard work and dedication every day.

Teacher Appreciation Week was a huge success thanks to all the family volunteers and staff members who pitched in to make it magical! Thank you!

Class Placement Input Form & Information Night

Thank you parents for your continued partnership with staff at Shrevewood ES!  We know that a good teacher-student match and a productive mix of children are ingredients for success, and we carefully consider each child’s strengths and needs during the class creation process.  While we do not accept requests for individual teachers by name, we encourage parents to share information school staff should be aware of to aid the process of creating classes for the 2022-2023 school year.  Keep in mind parent input is one source of information used to create classes and classes are not finalized until late August.  So that your submission can be considered prior to conversations with the teachers, please submit your input by Friday, May 20, 2022.  Thank you!
