Note from Dr. Sheers

We have a slight uptick in positive Covid cases in our school and wanted to remind parents to please monitor their children and to not send them to school if they have any of the following Covid-like symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

We are finding most students who attended school with positive Covid had one of the above symptoms. Your help monitoring your children will help us in our efforts to mitigate Covid in the classroom and school, thank you! You can monitor the county dashboard here.

Positivity Project

Positivity Project - Week of May 2
This week’s character strength is Purpose – Purpose means you have beliefs about the meaning of life and your life’s purpose.  You seek to be part of something greater than yourself it gives individuals the sense that they are put on this earth for a reason and that they are somehow connected with humanity or the universe. People who possess a sense of purpose believe that they were put on earth for a reason. It allows them to persevere and find courage in trying circumstances or lead with kindness and love even when it’s not reciprocated. Find out more about Purpose by watching this  videoNext week is our Outro Week- Other People Mindset.
