❗ COVID Letters/Process Explained

The COVID letters we must send can be confusing and at times stressful. Below is a brief summary of the process that we follow.

👉When a COVID positive case(s) is reported to the school, we send a generic letter to notify the community and staff of any reported cases that day.

👉👉If there are 3 or more confirmed positive cases in a class, it is considered a possible outbreak in that classroom. We send a specific letter to that impacted class with next steps.

👉👉👉Once the Health Department confirms the outbreak in the class, we send a generic community notification of the outbreak.

We hope this information helps you in understanding the different types of COVID letters.

Please know that we continue to ensure that surfaces are cleaned frequently and that students are washing their hands.

We also appreciate your help in keeping your child home when they are not feeling well.
