Our Teachers Transform Our Future
We love our teachers at GBW and want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our instructional staff. Each day, we see amazing examples of their dedication to students, families, and school. They go above and beyond in so many ways, and we couldn’t have more “Panda Pride” for all that they do. Many of our staff work long hours in the evenings, on weekends, and even on vacation days to prepare instructional activities for our students. It is thanks to their hard work and dedication that we continue to be one of the top schools in FCPS year after year. Teachers - thank you again for all you do to ensure that every student at GBW succeeds!
And to our fabulous PTA and parents, thank you for an incredible week full of delicious food to celebrate our teachers and staff. Thank you so much for your show of support. We felt very loved and appreciated this week, and we are all very thankful to partner with you in the education of our students!
Student Survey Form - Due Friday, May 20
Dear GBW Families,
Though the beginning of the next school year may seem far away, we are already beginning our planning for classroom assignments. To assist in this process, each year we like to provide families the opportunity to share some information about your child by completing the Student Survey Form. Please note that we do not accept requests for a particular teacher. Your feedback will be shared with the entire committee (admin, supporting teachers, counselors, & specialists) when we collaboratively make our class placements.
When our committee makes our class placements, we will use a complex set of data including academic needs, social / emotional / behavioral needs, teacher feedback, and will also include parent feedback from this form. Our promise to the community is that we will read and consider this feedback when making class placements so that we ensure all students are successful next year.
Please complete this form no later Friday, May 20, 2022. Any feedback received after this date will not be used in our class placement meetings.

Field Day - Friday, June 3
We are excited to announce we will be holding our Field Day on Friday, June 3, 2022. We are looking for parent volunteers to help make this year's field day special for our students. Student’s Intention for Next School Year Form: Many families have not yet responded. Whether or not your child will be returning to GBW for 2022-23, we need to know. This will greatly help us in projecting our total enrollment for next school year. Please return the form as soon as possible.
You may drop off, fax, email or mail the intention form to the Greenbriar West Main Office. Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., M-F

Please Donate...Only One Week Left!
All donations will be delivered to the Western Fairfax Christian Ministries, a local outreach center that manages a food pantry for the local Fairfax community. Donations must be non-perishable food and no glass. Our goal is to reach 1000 items!
