Reminder: No Bus Passes This School Year

Parents, please be advised that this school year, due to Covid protocols as well as bus driver staffing shortages, students will not be granted bus passes to ride any bus they are not currently assigned to. Parents wishing to arrange afterschool playdates must arrange their own transportation. We thank you for your cooperation.

This notice first appeared in the Eaglegram on September 10, 2021 (available here) and the policy remains in effect.

Also, please remember that if a student is going home with another student (either by car or walking), the office must receive notes from both sets of parents the morning of the change. The best way to do this is by emailing ClermontElem.Attendance@fcps.edu. (If this change is made after noon, please also call the office at (703) 921-2400 to confirm receipt of your message.)

Spring Picture Day

Spring Picture Day will be on Wednesday, May 4th. Pictures can be pre-ordered at mylifetouch.com. Picture Day ID: EVTT6CPXM

Note: Although the order forms mention class pictures, please disregard this. Clermont will not be doing class pictures this year, only individual portraits will be taken on May 4th. (The PTA has taken playground pictures of the classes for use in the yearbook)

Spring SOL Testing

Spring Standards of Learning (SOL) testing for grades 3-6 will take place during the month of May. Specific grade level testing dates are below. Please ensure that your children get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and show up to school on-time prior to testing. Also, we request that you avoid appointments or unnecessary absences on your children's testing dates whenever possible.
