SOL Testing Schedule

test

Every spring, Virginia students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 take Standards of Learning (SOL) tests in the content areas of Reading and Math. In addition, 5th grade students take a Science test. Testing Notification letters were sent to parents this week via email. Included in the email was the SOL testing calendar. The calendar is attached HERE for your reference.

A score of 400 or higher is a passing score. Students who come close to passing and receive a score between 375 and 399 may retake the test with parent permission. We encourage parents to discuss this option with their child(ren) prior to testing and to fill out the form below to let us know what option your family is choosing.
