Fairhill Community Garden Round Up

Fairhill Community Garden CleanUp

gfd

Dear Fairhill Families:

Today’s Fairhill Forum is all about the appreciation and GRATITUDE for the tremendous support our community showed this past weekend during our Garden Clean-Up Day. As you can see from the pictures and videos below, we had a tremendous turn out of well over a hundred people and the result of our team effort is incredible. We worked through beautiful sunshine, light rain, snow and hail - a typical day in the month of March in Northern Virginia!

Even if you were unable to come out and physically support, you likely still contributed by volunteering your time time or donating funds to the PTA through The Fun Run, Square One Art, Restaurant Nights and all of our other fundraising opportunities that allowed us to have such a successful day.

While the main purpose of this event was to plant, revitalize and beautify our grounds, the most inspirational part of the day was seeing the smiles, laughs, new friends and connections between families and Fairhill staff. We all know that relationships are the most important factor in student success and Saturday was a great reminder of that. The connections and relationships with the community are two of the most important factors in school success. Thank you for being part of our Fairhill Community and the support you give to our amazing school.

With Deep Gratitude,

Ted & Courtney

PS: A reminder that Thursday is an early release (2:05 PM), Friday a student holiday, and next week is Spring Break. Enjoy the much deserved break with your students before we head into the 4th quarter of the school year.
