Family Engagement Survey Closes on April 3rd

FCPS families received an email with a link to our Family Engagement Survey on Sunday, March 13th. The survey closes April 3rd. Providing your feedback is critical in helping to inform and improve FCPS’ practices to best support our students.

Taking this survey will also help strengthen the partnership between your family and your school. When that partnership is strong, students can experience a range of benefits including improved school readiness, higher student achievement, and better social skills and behavior.

FCPS is partnering with independent firm K12 Insight to administer the survey, and it is available in eight languages. For more information, visit the Family Engagement Survey webpage. Your voice matters!

April is the Month of the Military Child

Month of the Military Child

Each year our nation designates April as the Month of the Military Child to recognize and thank children from military families for the sacrifices they make living the military lifestyle.

In addition to showcasing military connected students on our news show, we can show support by wearing purple. The Virginia Department of Education has chosen April 20th as a day to Purple Up! Why purple? Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military.

Please join us in wearing purple on Wednesday, April 20th.
