Family Engagement Night - Virtual!
We are excited to offer our first virtual Parent Engagement Night on March 16th at 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Our teachers prepared short videos for parents to support learning at home. Many parents have inquired how to support reading and math. We will introduce these instructional supports during the virtual Parent Engagement Night. Some insights to our offerings are shown below. Parents may access the links on your own through Schoology.
- Place Value - Building Models and Playing Games to Solidify Understanding of Place Value
- Fluency in Math - Using Calendar Math to Practice Skills
- High Frequency Works - Games to Play to Reinforce
- Phonological Awareness - Spelling Strategies
- Reading Comprehension - Supporting Focus on Main Idea or Theme
- Fractions - Supporting Understanding of Fractions and Decimals
- Specialists - Resources and fun activities at home (P.E., Art, Music, FLES, STEAM and Counselor)
