Good Morning Parents and Families:
It was another eventful week here at Stone. We celebrated Read Across America on Wednesday, March 2nd. Students participated in a school-wide Kahoot trivia challenge on fun reading facts. Congratulations to Mrs. Powell's 4th period who were the winners of the popcorn party. I loved that all around the building our Panther Block teachers read a book to their respective classes as we emphasized the power and importance of daily reading. As always, a huge thank you to our Leadership and Panther News students for creating such wonderful activities to support our school community.
This week we celebrate our Week of Awesome spirit week. There will be additional information as it relates to our basketball game and other events,so stay tuned.

Portrait of a Panther
Our students continue to shine in and outside of the classroom. This week’s Portrait of a Panther winners demonstrated a number of skills to include strong communication, collaboration, resiliency as they stayed true to their goals. Several of these students helped support the second publishing of our school newspaper, Panther Press.
