Hello Justice HS Students, Families, and Community Members:
Although this week was short, it was an incredibly great week, just like the weather! We are only a month away from Spring Break and I’m looking forward to experiencing my first Spring in Virginia. 😊
March is Women's History Month. I want to send a huge shout out and thank you to all the incredible women in our lives who have inspired in us strength, wisdom, compassion and determination!

Back-to-School Pediatric Immunization Clinic on March 12
The State of Virginia requires immunizations for entry into kindergarten, 7th grade, 12th grade, and when transferring into FCPS. The Fairfax County Health Department will be offering a special immunization clinic for Fairfax County students to complete their school vaccine requirements (the COVID-19 vaccine is not a required vaccine).
The clinic will be held on Saturday, March 12, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Annandale District Office, 7611 Little River Turnpike, #400-E, Annandale, VA 22003. Appointments are required.

Justice HS Family Events – Save the Date!
JHS will be hosting our first series of Family Events, information sessions for college-bound and newcomer students, wellness seminars, and math and literacy activities. These are just a few of the exciting opportunities that will be waiting for you and your family on the following dates:
- Tuesday, March 22nd | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday, April 23rd | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday, April 26th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Snacks and child care will be provided, so save the date and bring the entire family! More information to come!
Register Now for the FCPS Virtual Special Education Conference on March 26
FCPS’s 17th Annual Special Education Conference will be held virtually on Saturday, March 26, with a combination of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (recorded) sessions supporting the conference's theme: Bringing our Inclusive Community Together: Affirming, Assessing, Advancing. Welcoming ceremonies, guest speakers, FCPS presentations, and an exhibit hall are included. Registration for this free conference is now open online.
- Parents and community members will be able to register online.
- FCPS educators, administrators, and preservice teachers will be able to register online and earn recertification points for attending the conference.
- Individuals needing foreign language interpretation (Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, and Korean), American Sign Language (ASL), or Cued Language Transliterator (CLT) interpreters for the live sessions may request this on the registration form.

The WP Theatre Presents:
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
The cast and crew are excited! The students are doing a great job and we are having a blast! Come see this uplifting musical that looks at life through the open and happy heart of Charlie Brown. You will enjoy spending time with Charles Schulz’s "Peanuts,” and seeing them come to life. This collage of characters reminds us that we can find happiness in the simplest of things and in any situation.
