Dear Shrevewood Families,
It is hard to believe that on Tuesday we will be entering the month of March. The months of January and February went very quickly. And, after the beautiful 70-degree day on Wednesday we are looking forward to Spring which is right around the corner. Spring is a busy time of year and we are excited about some of our upcoming events.
Please remember that next Thursday is a two-hour early release (3/3), and Friday there is no school for the Staff Development Day (3/4). Our staff will be participating in several professional development sessions.

Parents, we are in need of Cafeteria Volunteers!
Volunteers would:
- Monitor cafeteria during different time slots (ranging from 10:50- 2:15)
- Help custodians clean tables
- Monitor students and prompt them to line up
- Have fun!!

Hard to believe that we are already planning for next year. We ask that all parents/guardians complete the Student Intention Form, one for each student, to let us know if your student will, or will not, return to Shrevewood next year. If you are not returning, please let us know where your child/children will be attending school.

We need your help in projecting the Kindergarten enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year. Virginia Law, section 22.1-254, requires that children who will reach their fifth birthday on or before September 30, 2022, must be enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year unless the parent or guardian notifies the school in writing that they do not wish the child to attend school until the following year.
If you have a child who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2022, please complete this form and return it no later than March 1, 2022. If any of your neighbors have children who will be eligible for Kindergarten, please share this information with them, as we are especially interested in reaching those Shrevewood families who do not have children currently attending school.
The information on this survey will help the school plan for adequate facilities and personnel for the 2022-2023 school year. We thank you in advance for returning the form no later than March 1, 2022. Should you have any questions please contact our SIA/Registrar, Maria Giuliani.

As a reminder, school begins at 9:20 am and ends at 4:05 pm. Please notify us if your child will be absent or late to school. We will have an automated “call-out” at approximately 11 a.m. for students who were absent without prior notification. If you receive that call, please contact our office the next day.
