Back Up Mask Reminder |
Masks get dirty, ear elastic breaks: we understand that the mask a student wears to school in the morning may not last the whole day. Please be sure to pack extra masks in your children's backpacks. We do have extra child-size masks in the office but it saves time if students can simply replace a broken mask with one from their backpack.

Student Birthday Celebrations at School |
We'd like to remind families that birthday treats for classmates may not contain anything edible because of students with food allergies. You are welcome to send non-edibles such as stickers, pencils, bookmarks, etc. for the entire class to celebrate your child's birthday. Please alert your child's teacher by email that you will be bringing in treats; they will be handed out at the end of the day.

Survey of Preschool Children |
We are currently gathering information for next year’s Kindergarten registration. If your child is age appropriate for Kindergarten for the next school year (five years old by September 30, 2022), and you haven’t notified the school, please complete the Survey of Preschool Children Form that will be sent home in the upcoming Thursday Folders. Please return the form by February 18, 2022.

SCA Food Drive - January 31 - February 11 |
The Wakefield Forest SCA is sponsoring a Food Drive from January 31 to February 11. Please donate non-perishable items - no glass containers, and please be sure to check expiration dates. Items will be donated to local Fairfax food bank, Food for Others. The SCA would like to challenge each classroom to collect 25 items per week!
