Due to the pandemic, our band has not been able to hold our Tag Day fundraiser for the past two years. While Fairfax County Public Schools provides funding for our band program, the funds do not cover all of our needs. Tag Day represents the single largest revenue-generating activity of the band. In lieu of going door to door this year, we are doing a “Virtual Tag Day” in the form of Go Fund Me, to raise these needed funds to support our band students at John R. Lewis High School.
The Lancer Band Parents organization (under the LeeBoP Corporation) is a non-profit corporation organized under the Internal Revenue Code 501(C)(3). As such, all donations are tax-deductible.
