IB Information Night for Families of Rising 9th Students Graders
The International Baccalaureate program at Robinson is a program of studies that is highly engaging, rigorous and asks students to be at the heart of the learning. Students will learn not only how to understand complex information and skills, but also how those skills and content apply to the larger world.
IB Diploma Program Coordinators will be hosting an in-person information night for families of rising 9th graders on Thursday, January 13th starting at 7 pm at Robinson Secondary School. During this presentation, we will provide links to a previously recorded overview of high school course selections at Robinson. If you prefer not to attend in person, we will also add a link to these presentations the following day to our school website, found by clicking here: https://robinsonss.fcps.edu/academics/high-school/ib-diploma-program.

Please consider donating your gently used cold weather Robinson Spirit Wear (sweatshirts, fleeces, long sleeve shirts) to our Ram Store. Donated items will be given to students who cannot afford the price tag of new cozy spirit wear. 2nd Quarter Club List & Descriptions
Activity Period: 3:00-4:30pm
Late bus service days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays; departing 4:50pm. (RSLR 5 & 11 depart at 5:00pm) Parent pick-up is at entrance #1.
Updates are posted on the Schoology grade level streams and club lists, descriptions, and quarter schedule in the MS Club & Activity folder located in the Resource tab.
Club & Activity Sign-up Procedure:
For clubs and activities meeting on late bus days, students sign-up using the After School Sign-up form posted at 9:30am on their grade level Schoology Group page for activities meeting that day. If a program fills, students will need to select from the remaining options. Students staying for Tuesday and/or Friday activities report directly to the meeting location and there is no need to sign-up.
Select programs require a separate registration due to design and time commitment, therefore, students do not need to sign-up for each meeting.

Football Conditioning Program Interest Meeting
The Middle School Weight Lifting Program is for 7th and 8th grade students that are interested in being a part of the Robinson Football program. Weight lifting in adolescents promotes an overall healthy lifestyle. Individuals will learn the proper use of weight lifting equipment and how to perform exercises safely. Those in the program will receive direct coaching from Robinson football coaches.
Interested students should plan to attend the meeting to meet the coaches and learn more! Students should plan to sign-up using the After School Sign-up form posted on the Schoology stream on 12/9.
The parent permission form will be distributed at this meeting and posted on Schoology thereafter for return to the SS7 or 8 office. Submission of this form is required before participation on 1/3/22. This program will be offered through mid-May and students may join any week.

Chillax Club
MS Crew Club | NEW!
Learn about the sport of rowing, and learn how to row on the indoor rowing machines, “ERGs”!
This club is geared towards students who have little to no experience with the sport and are excited to learn how to row! Each practice will introduce new rowers and coxswains to the sport of rowing, the technique of the rowing stroke, as well as other general basics of the sport. Those who participate in this club will be prepared for their high school's novice program or to transition to the next level of their development.

MS Math Mission Possible - Afterschool Help
Students who need some positive math support, come to MS Math Mission Possible after school on Wednesdays in A115. Bring your classwork, homework, projects, retake practice, or whatever you need help with from your math class, and work with a MS math teacher. Success can be yours if you choose to accept the mission!
Students sign up through Schoology using the After School Sign Up Form made available Wednesday mornings starting at 9:28 am.
Homework Club
Do you need to work on homework in a quiet zone or use the library services? Come to Homework Club on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays After-School! Bring all homework materials & meet in your sponsor’s room; students will have a snack then relocate to the media center.
