Clermont Yearbook Contest Is Here!

Now is your child’s opportunity to showcase their skills on the cover of the 2021-22 Clermont yearbook!

Here are the details:

  • The yearbook theme is “Community.”
  • Submissions must be on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper.
  • The design must be in Portrait orientation.
  • All artwork must be original and completed entirely by the student.
  • Submissions may be drawings, paintings, or computer-generated.The words “Clermont Elementary School” and the years “2021-22” must be included in the artwork.
  • This is the cover of the yearbook, so bright, vivid colors and bold lines work best - markers are preferable to pencil or crayon.
  • All artwork is due to Ms. Deveney (MDeveney1@fcps.edu) by January 4.
  • The artist’s name, grade, and teacher must be labeled on the back of the artwork. Use a pencil or attach a separate sheet so that this information doesn’t show through.

The winning design will make the front cover and a runner-up from each grade will be displayed on the back cover. Winners will be announced the week of January 24.

For additional questions, please contact Carolina Guido-Parada  at clermontyearbook@gmail.com or Leah Hirsch at vpoutreach@clermontpta.org

NEW: COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing Available for All Students

Covid Drive Thru Testing Image

All students now have access to COVID-19 drive-through diagnostic testing at locations across the county, including one in each of the FCPS school regions. Students who have COVID-19 symptoms or have been identified as a close contact to someone with COVID-19 are encouraged to test quickly to help reduce the spread of the virus. Testing is also a step in the return to school process following illness or exposure.

A full list of locations and schedules is available on our website.

Appointments are not required but families must register through FCPS’ secure online portal before testing. When you register and provide consent for your child to be tested, they will also be added to Clermont’s screening testing pool. If you do not wish for them to be part of the weekly screening testing pool, simply log back into the online portal after your child’s test is complete and withdraw consent.

More information about FCPS’ COVID-19 testing program, including diagnostic testing, is available online.
