Principal's Message

Hello Shrevewood Families,

We want to thank Colleen Wenzel for hosting an amazing Book Fair for our students and families. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped to make it such a great success!

As we prepare for Thanksgiving next week, we remain grateful for our Shrevewood family - students, staff and parents.  I came to Shrevewood ES in August of 2019 and I have always loved and appreciated the sense of community and caring that is so much a part of the fabric of this school.  

This pandemic has challenged us and yet we have come together time and time again to overcome challenges and create new solutions and opportunities. Through this time, what stands out to me are the heartwarming and genuine acts of kindness and care from each of you.

I hope this Thanksgiving finds you and your families safe and well.  Enjoy the Thanksgiving Break next week!

On Wednesday (11/24), Thursday (11/25), and Friday (11/26) next week all FCPS schools and offices are closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

As a reminder, school begins at 9:20 am and ends at 4:05 pm. Please notify us if your child will be absent or late to school.  We will have an automated “call-out” at approximately 11 a.m. for students who were absent without prior notification.
