Support for our Ram Family Members
Kaitlynn and Doug Kraemer, two of our high school math teachers, are sharing their story here: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/beautifuldorothy regarding their family journey to support their beautiful daughter Dorothy, recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Their almost two year old has started treatment. Robinson is in the process of organizing a Go For the Gold fundraising event to support the Kraemers. We know that our Robinson family wants to show support.
Please use this link to access 3 ways to help: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/beautifuldorothy/support
Please send your thoughts and prayers to the entire family. We are grateful to our staff members who have stepped up to cover classes, organize meals and gift card collection, and expressed their love and support.
If you would like to order a shirt in support of the Kraemer family, scan the QR code in the flyer below or go to the store website using this link.
Online Order for Gold Out Shirts
Dorothy “Dottie” Kraemer is the 2 year old daughter of two of Robinson’s math teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Kraemer. Dorothy's wild ride into this world has been anything but easy. With each obstacle she's faced, she's only grown in strength and beauty. Already a major heart surgery survivor, she's pushed every boundary and thrived. But there's another battle she faces now. On October 6, 2021 the doctor's found Acute Myeloid Leukemia inside “Dottie.” Robinson has banded together to support our Ram Family through the Go for the Goal organization (go4thgoal.org). This non-profit assists families with financial and logistical burdens so that they can focus their energy on caring for their child.
A HUGE, heartfelt thank you to those in our community that have donated to support our Ram Family. We have surpassed our initial goal of $15,000 and collectively raised $18,486.73 to date (11/9) through t-shirt sales, donated free of cost by Burke Sporting Goods. Our new goal is $20,000. Thank you to Burke Sporting Goods who has opened an online platform to order our Gold Out shirts and/or donate online. $5 from every shirt and 100% of the online donations will go towards our fundraiser.
Can you help us support our Robinson family in their fight against Pediatric Cancer?

My Personal Project & Certificate
10th Grade Families,
Students interested in earning the MYP Certificate should be starting their Personal Project at this time. The project is independent, self-driven, and is not tied to any course at Robinson. The project should be challenging, yet realistic for completion within 25 hours, by March 2022.
MYP Certificate has three components: 10th grade students will complete the Personal Project, take language courses in grades 9 and 10, and complete six service reflections in order to apply for the certificate in the spring.
Learn more by watching the parent/student Information Night video: https://youtu.be/tiAhQRujRxA
Join the Schoology Course to get started now! Access Code: K8FM-7Z6J-8KBXR; once enrolled you’ll be able to get started on your Personal Project.
The personal project is independent this year, and students will have lessons and tasks to complete within Schoology. You’ll also have some in-person support and a faculty mentor.
Save the date! Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 3:00pm. Join Mrs. Scott in the library to work on goal setting. If students can’t make it, all lessons will be available to complete asynchronously.
Questions? Contact Ms. Scott for Personal Project questions, dnscott@fcps.edu or Ms. Campbell for Service Hours and Certificate questions, escampbell@fcps.edu
