Thankful for our students

Fairfax Academy Community,

What a terrific first half of November we have had! It was so special to spend the day with nearly 200 of our students at our 4th Annual Career Experience Expo on November 5th. Our Fashion students have been busy visiting various schools, the hip hop dance students had a guest artist and we have been lucky to continue to have a number of colleges and universities visit our programs both virtually and in-person.

In the coming weeks we will begin talking about courses for next year. The biggest compliment is when our students recommend our programs to their friends. If you know a student who is interested in one of our programs, please keep them posted on all of our updates including our February Open House. Stay tuned for a few exciting announcements and for student visitor information.

Lastly, we are collecting nominations for the annual FCPS Outstanding Employee Awards. Please acknowledge any Fairfax Academy faculty or staff who you think goes above and beyond using the form linked below so we may celebrate them this winter. Nominations are due by November 23.

We hope you enjoy the changing of the season!
