Make Up Picture Day
Monday, November 15 is our make-up picture day. If you missed taking a picture earlier this school year, you can have your picture taken on Monday. Students will be called to the Library at specific times during the day to take pictures.

Twain Birthday Celebration is coming!
The PTA will coordinate cupcake donations for November 30, so that all our kids can celebrate Mark Twain’s birthday. Signups to donate cupcakes will be available on November 15. In the meantime, we will need volunteers to coordinate receiving cupcake donations and helping to give them out during the lunch periods on the 30th. Please contact our volunteer coordinator Mollee Hansen at mtms.volunteers@gmail.com if you can help.
Odyssey of the Mind
Does your child love to build, create, write, sing or act? Then Odyssey of the Mind might be for them! In this completely student-led activity, students meet to solve problems in creative ways, culminating in an online competition. Students will have a parent supervise them and will meet at a parent’s home. Registration is open now and will run through November 15. The online competition is March 5.

Did you know…
Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. A spine affected by scoliosis has a sideways curve, making it appear more like an “S” or a “C” than a straight line. Untreated scoliosis can lead to limited motion, back pain, deformity, and in extreme cases, impaired function of the heart and lungs. Early detection and treatment may prevent scoliosis from progressing.

Talent Show Auditions
Talent show auditions are Monday, December 6 after school. Students interested in auditioning should pick up an information and audition packet from the Theatre as soon as possible. Students must fill out an online Google form, and get parent and teacher signatures in order to audition on the 6th so don’t delay! Pick up your packet and start practicing now. Questions?
