Dear Belvedere Family:
On this Veterans’ Day, we remember and honor anyone who currently serves or who has served in the United States Military. Students across all grade levels engage in learning opportunities about Veterans’ Day. These vary by grade level and include some of the following activities:
- Read aloud of books, such as The Wall by Eve Bunting
- Writing Thank You cards to Veterans
- Welcoming a Veteran into the classroom to share about Veterans’ Day
- Class discussions about the importance of Veterans’ Day
To all Veterans, Thank You for your service.
