Family Learning Series: “Building Strong Relationships this School Year”

Many of our students have not been in school for quite some time. Our counselors, Jamie Fobert and Mo Sharpton,  would like to share how they are teaching and reinforcing relationship skills, conflict resolution skills and coping strategies. We hope you can join us via zoom on Monday, November 15 at 7 pm. Link will be sent prior to the meeting!

FLE Preview Night

Students in grades K-5 participate in Family Life Education (FLE) instruction through their classroom teacher. Positivity Project for October 31-November 6: Perspective

P2

WHAT DOES PERSPECTIVE MEAN?

You appreciate when people see things in different ways. You have the ability to understand the world from multiple points of view.

Family Chat:

If you could be an animal what would you be?

How would your perspective of the world be different if you were this animal?

Is it okay to have a different perspective on something than a friend?

How can a team or group of people benefit by using their different perspectives when solving a problem or working to accomplish a goal?

Is it equally important to understand someone else’s perspective as it is to understand your own perspective? Why or why not?

“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.“

-HENRY DAVID THOREAU
