PTA Trunk or Treat Moved to Saturday, from 4-6 pm

A drawing of a car decorated with halloween candy inside.

Due to potential bad weather on Friday evening, the PTA has decided to move the Trunk or Treat event to Saturday 10/30 from 4-6 pm. It will still take place in the Clermont Elementary School parking lot and costumes are optional.

The PTA is currently working with the food trucks to see if they can come on Saturday. As of now, Virginia Grill (https://www.goodfynd.com/vendors/virginia-grill/) is able to still be at the event. If you did place an order and the truck is no longer able to make it, your money will be refunded. Please watch our Facebook page for updates on food trucks as we confirm availability. Please note that the school restrooms will not be available during this event, so please plan accordingly!

We apologize for the late change, but with the steady rain scheduled, we do not think we can safely execute the event on Friday evening. If you have any questions, please direct them to vpoutreach@clermontpta.org. Thanks for understanding and we look forward to seeing you then!

Share Your Feedback on the FCPS 2022-23 School Year Calendar

Families and staff received an email this week from fcpssurvey@fcps.edu with a link to the FCPS Calendar Survey. The survey will also be available in other languages.

If you did not see the survey in your in-box, check your spam or junk folders.

We encourage you to complete the survey at your earliest convenience. Employees and students in grades 7-12 will be invited to take a similar survey as well. The results will be used to inform and support FCPS staff as well as the Fairfax County School Board as they work to adopt the 2022-23 calendar. All responses are confidential. If you have any questions about the survey, please email FCPSsurvey@fcps.edu.

Also, mark your calendars for a virtual Calendar Community Meeting on Monday, November 8, 7-8 p.m. Stay tuned for more details.

This year, FCPS is using a different process to develop the calendar. Learn about the criteria being used in the development of the 2022-23 calendar.
