 Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Lemon Road DanceFit Challenge. The students had a great time today and danced their hearts out!
Since we kicked off the DanceFit Challenge on October 19 we have received donations from 35 states as well as from Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, showing what a truly global community we are at Lemon Road.
Congratulations to these five classes that all registered at least 90% of their students for the DanceFit Challenge and have earned a Popsicle party:
- Ms. Park - 2nd grade (95%)
- Ms. Hagerty - 3rd grade (92%)
- Ms. Zykoski - 4th grade (95%)
- Ms. Callanen - 4th grade (95%)
- Ms. Krieger - 5th grade (90%)
We are excited to share that we reached our initial goal of $15,000 and are well on our way to $20,000! These funds will be used to purchase new math manipulatives and STEAM games and tools for the school, as well as cover PTA expenses like field trip buses, teacher and staff appreciation, and so much more.
Pledges and donations will be accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 3 so there is still a chance to donate to support Lemon Road. We'll announce the top three fundraising classes that have earned a pizza party after the donation period closes.
