REFLECTIONS ART PROGRAM CONTEST:
Does your student enjoy art, music or dance or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then encourage them to join us and unleash their inner artist with the PTA Reflections Arts Program! This year’s theme, “I Will Change the World By…,” calls for your students’ unique interpretation through the arts. Entries are all digital this year and the submission site can be found HERE. That site includes a link to the specific rules for each category. Entries are due by 11/3/21. If you have any questions about this program, you can contact Mrs. Patti Pullen.
OCTOBER RESTAURANT NIGHT IS FRIDAY:
We hope you will enjoy Dickey's Barbecue Pit (***LOCATION*** 11199 Lee Highway, Fairfax VA 22030, 703-865-4333) THIS Friday, October 29 from 11AM-9PM. Please mention "Frost MS Fundraiser" when calling in your order or indicate in the “Notes Section” when ordering online for pickup/delivery. 10% of the proceeds will go to Frost's PTA. Reminder: schools are closed Monday & Tuesday, Nov. 1 & 2, so perhaps one of their yummy party packs would make the long weekend complete! P.S. If you place an order online, make sure your wifi doesn't kick off and look for a confirmation email. If there are problems, please call in the order. Brian, the owner, and his adult kids will be able to help you if there are any problems. Thank you for supporting the PTA and Frost!
IMPACT AID SURVEYS ARE DUE:
THANK YOU to all who have returned them. If you haven’t done so, please take a moment to complete the survey and return it with your student to their Falcon Focus teacher ASAP. Returning this form is important because the information from this survey results in additional grants and funding from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support students, schools, and centers. If you have any questions please contact Frost's Impact Aid Coordinator, Rema Cancino.
