Early Dismissal this Friday

Please note that this Friday, October 29, 2021, students will be dismissed 2 hours early. The schedule is linked here.

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST)

Freshman Winter Applications will be available online starting Monday October 25^th after 4pm. Please see below for Eligibility requirements to apply:

Requirements for 2021-2022

Current 8^th Grader

Enrolled in both math and science honors courses
Enrolled in one additional honors course or identified as a Young Scholar
Minimum GPA is 3.5. This GPA is for final unweighted marks in 7^th grade for math, science, English, social studies and World Language (if for high school credit) as well as 1^st quarter 8^th grade for the same core subjects

The application and all detailed information about the Freshman Winter Application Process can be found on the TJHSST Admissions Website www.tjadmissions.org The application deadline is 4pm November 19, 2021 (keep in mind that your child’s math class will need to be verified by the Irving TJ counselor liaison who needs 24-48 school hours in advance to confirm your application, please apply no later than November 17^th, 2021).
