Nominating Committee
This will be my last year as president. And while the executive board has stayed the same for the past few years, we are hoping to give others the opportunity to serve on the board in the next school year! To do so, we need your help!
While this specific committee doesn’t need to officially form until later this school year, we do need to start thinking about the Nominating Committee. Would you like to help??
All members of the nominating committee must be PTA members. Main duties include soliciting PTA board nominees, communicating with other committee members, sharing information regarding board positions, communicating with persons interested in running for the board to answer questions, and attending the April and May general membership meetings to help with presenting nominees and elections. If you are interested in serving in this capacity or have additional questions, please email me at sara@gbepta.com.

SEPTA: IEPs in Our New Reality
Special Education in the era of COVID-19 has dealt with a lot of changes and difficulties. Join SEPTA and Maria Blaeuer, Attorney at Law, for a presentation on best practices, procedural rights, and tips for drafting IEPs in our new reality. We will have some IEP-resource related door prizes up for grabs for SEPTA members as well!
