Labeling Clothing Items

As we get into cooler months, it becomes more important to label sweatshirts and coats with your child's name. Students will need to keep on top of their items. We want to get lost items back to our students and don't have a lot of room to store things that are left in common areas. Labeled items can be return to the child's classroom

Chesterbrook Spirit Days for October

Students have voted on many spirit days to show their spirit throughout the school year.  Each month we will have a Chesterbrook Spiritwear or Blue/Yellow day and an additional spirit day of their selection.

October 15th - CES Spirtwear Blue/Yellow Day

October 29th - Freaky Friday Costume Day
School appropriate costumes- including no weapons or full face masks
Protective masks covering the mouth/nose still required
Hats will be allowed, but may not fully cover the head and face.

Any Freaky Friday wear should allow a student to fully participate in the school day. Show your school spirit and have fun!

New Online Programs Purchased for Chesterbrook Students to Support Student Learning

Chesterbrook has purchased two programs which will help our students in different areas of their development.  Both programs can be found on our "Chesterbrook Student Links" page.

Typing Club will help our students develop a skillset to more quickly access letters on the keyboard and develop proficiency in typed/written communication. Typing programs are usually best accessible to older students (3rd and up) with larger hands and increased fine motor skills to move fingers independently, however, all students will have access.

Dreambox is an additional online math program that teachers will be introducing in the coming weeks. Dreambox will adapt to a child's learning path and teachers can link valuable practice lessons to help students shore up foundational gaps. This is a brand new purchase and teachers have not yet introduced, so stay tuned for more details!
