WAKEFIELD FOREST WEEKLY MESSAGE

Woodson Homecoming

Dear Wakefield Forest Families,

It was exciting to see so many of our current and past families at the Woodson Homecoming Parade. It’s always a fun event.

We appreciate Boy Scout Dens 3 and 5 for assembling several more picnic tables for our outdoor eating. We will continue to eat outside as weather permits. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather.

We want to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication our staff members put in each day. They have been working hard to connect with students, plan engaging lessons and collaborate with one another. If you would like to acknowledge a staff member, we invite you to submit your story through FCPS Cares.

Thank you.

Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid

FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid.  The form went out in last week's Thursday folders.

Returning this form is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

For each school-aged child in your household, please complete, sign, date, and return the survey to your child's teacher.  All forms must be signed, dated, and returned by November 5. All results are CONFIDENTIAL.
