The next PTSA meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct 19, at 7:00 in the library. In addition to the business meeting, we will have guest speakers sharing and discussing information to help parents with the challenges of teen mental health and wellness. We hope to see you there!
The CVHS Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) is looking for a parent volunteer to chair the All Night Grad Party planning. The ANGP is our traditional last hurrah for newly graduated seniors to spend several hours hanging out with their friends in a fun and safe environment. The Chair would be the main coordinator of the event, with support from an ANGP Board and other parents. Parents of seniors are usually very involved, but sophomore and junior parents are the best fit for this role, since senior parents usually have a lot going on in the days leading up to graduation. The PTSA is also asking parents to help us by making a donation through a PTSA membership or donation to our No-Fuss Fundraiser. Everything raised goes directly back into the CVHS community - teacher/staff appreciation events, senior scholarships, professional development grants for teachers, special education program support, monthly educational programs for parents, and support for student programs, like the All Night Grad Party. We're rebuilding after a difficult 2020-2021 school year, and every donation helps. Please consider making a one-time gift through the link above.
