KJMS Math Club

Math Club

The KJMS Math Club will meet on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30. Students who participate in Math Club will have the opportunity to enrich their Math Skills in weekly meetings while preparing for upcoming tests and competitions.

KJMS Math Club Students will have the chance to:

  • Participate in the AMC 10 and AMC 8

  • Tryout to compete in the Thomas Jefferson Intermediate Math Open (TJIMO)

  • Tryout to compete on the KJMS Math Counts Team

The first meeting of the KJMS Math Club will be Tuesday, October 5th.

There are NO Late Buses on Tuesdays.

DND Club

DND

The DND Club is a place for people to play Dungeons and Dragons, a tabletop roleplaying game set in a fantasy world. In Dungeons and Dragons anything is possible! As you go through the story your Dungeon Master will give you a story you are recommended to follow which leads to adventures and quests. This club is beginner friendly meaning people who don't know anything about the game can join, all you need is a personal account(other than your school account) and a school computer, and your set!

DND Club meets on Mondays from 2:30-4:30 beginning October 4th!

Script Writing Club

Script Writing

Script Writing Club is a way to express creativity through writing. Learn how to write an exciting script that will not only interest you but your audience!

KJMS Eco Club

In Eco Club, students will engage in outdoor gardening and promote environmental stewardship. In addition to social interaction, students will apply life science content learned to real life.

Eco Club meets on Monday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30 beginning 9/20 and 9/23.

KJMS Walking for Wellness

A walking club for students (and teachers)! We would focus on increasing our distance over time to the point where we are able to walk 3.5-4 miles during a walking session. This is a club for anyone who likes to walk and wants to work on their "wellness" and become more fit at the same time.

Walking for Wellness will meet on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 beginning 9/20.
