This week is Homecoming Week! It is always a great week to show your Annandale spirit and pride while supporting some of your favorite athletic teams and activities. Thank you to everyone who came out Friday to kick off the week at our Homecoming Flag Football Game. A huge shout out to all the athletes and coaches who participated. Congratulations to the Seniors on a hard fought win!
Don’t forget you also get extra spirit points in your W4 for attending a sporting event (besides football) this week. We have a home Field Hockey game today and a home Volleyball game on Tuesday, so there are plenty to choose from!
Finally, the week will end with our Homecoming Tailgate before the Annandale Atoms take on the Mt. Vernon Majors for our Homecoming Game on Friday night. Then we will dance the night away on Saturday for the Homecoming Dance. So much to look forward to! Get some rest this weekend and get ready for a fun-filled week!

Atoms Athletics Highlights
Congratulations to our Annandale Golf team on a great season. They competed in the National District Tournament last week and ended with a team score of 828 after having an all-around great second day. Senior, Kate Chrestman, qualified for the Regional Championship on October 5th at Twin Lakes. We want to wish Kate the best of luck!

Club Highlight: Art Club
Are you an artist or art lover? Art Club will be holding its first meeting of the year after school today in Room 334. The agenda is introductions, the future direction of the art club, and art club leadership for the 2021-2022 school year. Please bring yourself, your ideas, and your laptop! Contact Ms. Brooks with any questions.
New Vaccination Policy for Athletes
Starting November 8th, all athletes who will be participating in winter, spring sports or off-season workouts will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Please drop off a copy of your vaccination card to the Activities Office starting today. Any athlete who has not been vaccinated will be required to submit a negative test to participate. We will have more information on weekly testing procedures in the coming weeks. Medical and religious exemption forms can be found here. Email John Ellenberger if you have any questions.

COVID Reminders
Athletes and Parents - Every athlete must fill out the pre-activity form each day. Save the QR code to your phone. When you enter the building, you must wear a mask. Masks are not required for outdoor events. Please bring a 32 oz. water bottle to practices and games. Stay home when you feel sick. All Volleyball fans must wear a mask!
