Saratoga ES- National Hispanic Heritage Month

hispanic

Dear Saratoga families,

National Hispanic Heritage Month is the period from September 15th to October 15th to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Hispanic Heritage Month “pays tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we are encouraging our Latinx/Hispanic students to highlight their country in this slide deck . We would like for students to share:

  • Name
  • Picture
  • Country
  • Flag
  • Contribution to the world

Students will need to log in with their FCPS Google account to complete a slide. After clinking the hyperlink, students will be prompted to make a copy of the slide. Please have students share their slide with Mr. Williams (dawilliams@fcpsschools.net) once they are done. Please email Mr. Williams (dawilliams@fcps.edu) with any questions.
