Next Wednesday, September 29, fill your bellies with our favorite local restaurant’s delicious offerings! Dogfish Head is partnering with the PTA to raise money for GBE the whole day -- 11:30am until 10:00pm!
Let’s Celebrate Your Culture!
The GBE community is beautifully diverse, and we want to celebrate it! We hope you'll join us by signing up to highlight your culture's holidays at our outdoor, community event at the end of October!

Sign up below if you and your family would like to participate! GBE will provide tables for the event, and how you decorate your table is up to you! A traditional tri-fold poster could be amazing. Have a different idea? Go for it! (Please just be mindful of school rules--as well as Covid precautions.)

Attention 6th Grade Parents!
Each month, we’re asking a different grade-level to help us restock the (new-as-of-last-year) teacher’s lounge! September is YOUR (first) turn! Donations are welcome all month long (all year, honestly).
For your convenience, we’ve created an Amazon wish list with suggested items you can ship straight to the school--however you are not limited to this list! Anything that will help keep our fabulous teachers and staff easily sustained will be perfect. Think prepackaged grab-n-go items, beverages, you know the drill!

National PTA recently released the results of a national survey and listening sessions exploring parents’ mindsets on COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols and their expectations and concerns as their children return to school. Read the results.
To further support families this school year, last week National PTA hosted a Back-to-School Week, sharing information and resources on our Back to School webpage and on social media using #PTABackToSchool. PTA will continue to bring knowledge, tools and resources into the lives of families, schools and communities to navigate challenges during these unprecedented times.
