It was great to see so many of you virtually this past week at our PTA meeting! We are so appreciative of the work our PTA does to support students, families and staff. I hope that our new families and those returning will consider joining the Oak Hill PTA this year! Click here to join! I also saw many families along the Chantilly Homecoming Parade route last Friday. It is so much fun to be apart of a tradition that brings our Chantilly Pyramid communities together.

Order forms with purchasing information were sent home in Wednesday folders. Picture packets must be purchased prior to picture day. See order form for details. Please use this Questionnaire to determine if your child should come to school on any given day. It does not need to be sent in; it is a guide to help you determine if your child should be at school. Please help keep all of our children safe and keep your child home for the day if you answer yes to any of the questions on the list.

A big shout out to everyone in our Oak Hill Community who helped make this month’s Chipotle Fundraiser a huge success! We made a whopping $1,228.82! This money directly supports our students and your contribution is very much appreciated! So far we have purchased two new Bluetooth Speakers for the music department.
The Fairfax County Health Department announced a change in their communication process for students waiting for COVID-19 contact interviews. You may read about these changes on the FCHD website. You may also wish to review the FCHD FAQs for parents of school-aged children. We appreciate the continued partnership between FCPS and FCHD.
Volunteers are needed in our school health room. Training is provided by the Fairfax County Health Department Public Health Nurse. For questions, please contact our school health aide, Juliana Rampersad at 703-467-3510.

Angel Tree is a program to help families in Fairfax County who are in need of assistance to provide gifts for their children aged 0-12 years during the winter holiday season.
If your family needs assistance with gifts for your children ages 0-12 years, you may request assistance by October 1 by clicking here. Spirit Wear Sales
PTA has spirit wear for sale now through October 10th! Order forms are on the PTA website. Spirit wear will be delivered to teachers mailboxes for distribution during the week of October 25th.

PTA Teacher and Staff Hospitality
As we are starting to try and return to some sort of normalcy mental health is such a huge, needed focus for all of us. As our teachers work hard to make sure they are meeting the mental health needs of our children. We would also like to make sure their mental health needs are being met!
