Super Snacks Are Back!!

The activities office and the FCPS office of Food and Nutrition Services are pleased to offer the return of the after-school snacks program, Super Snacks. FCPS is participating in the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) to be able to provide the snacks free of charge :)

Students participating in any after school activity can stop by room C36 (storage room across from Boys PE locker room) and pick up a nutritious snack each day of the week.

This is a great opportunity to bridge the gap between meals and provide for sustained energy during after school activities!

Your Questions Answered on the Student-Athlete Vaccination Requirement

Fairfax County Public Schools requires student-athletes be vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus for the winter and spring sports seasons as an additional safety measure to support our layered prevention strategies.

Students who are 16 years of age or older (age as of November 8 for Winter Season) who are unvaccinated and do not have either a medical or religious exemption will not be able to participate in team activities.

In addition, unvaccinated students who are 12 -15 years of age who do not provide a weekly negative Covid-19 test will not able to participate in team activities.

Currently FCPS is working on securing a vendor to assist with providing access to weekly testing for athletes.  We will share more information as it becomes available.

FCPS and Justice High School is currently working on procedures for student athletes to submit proof . Stay tuned!

Thanks for your patience while we worked out the operational aspects of this new requirement. Read the FAQs to learn more about the timeline, how vaccination status will be verified, exceptions, safety, and more.
