Happy Thursday West Potomac!

Week 2 is in the books! Students continue to be vigilant with following the mask mandates and it has helped us to continue to have no major disruptions. After careful thought and consultation with region leadership and our PTSA Board, we have decided to cancel the in-person portion of our Back to School Open House. With the consistent rise in COVID cases in our community, and the fact that so far we have not had major disruptions due to COVID, we feel it is prudent to not expose teachers and others unnecessarily. We will maintain our virtual component and it will be posted to our webpage on Sept. 8^th. Teachers will have introductory videos and PowerPoint presentations with their important course information. You may at any time reach out directly to teachers with questions.

Arrival, dismissal, and lunch has steadily improved and we will continue to make adjustments as needed to support teaching and learning in the safest way possible.
