No Bus Passes this Year

Because of COVID protocols and crowded buses, we cannot allow students to ride any other bus than the one they have been assigned by Transportation.  Please do not ask for your child to ride home with another child on a bus that is not their regular bus.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Bike/Scooter Safety Reminders

Please remind your children to be safety-conscious if they ride bikes or scooters to and from school.  We are having incidents of bikes and scooters traveling too fast down Iva Lane in the afternoons.  For everyone's safety, it's recommended that students walk their bikes and scooters down the hill, especially during Kiss and Ride.

Welcome to Schoology

We are excited about Schoology (pronounced /SKOO-luh-jee/), FCPS' new learning management system. Schoology is a learning space that enhances communication, collaboration, and personalized learning for students, teachers, and families.

Through it families will have access to their student’s digital assignments and access to many of the virtual resources they will use. The following are some resources that will help you prepare to use Schoology this year:

Woodson Football Feeder Night - September 17

Come show your school spirit! All students from the Woodson Pyramid are invited to the Woodson football game on Friday, September 17 to participate in Feeder Night activities.  Students from feeder schools will be recognized before the game at 6:40 pm as they run across the field!  Wear your WFES gear or school colors.  Look in your child’s Thursday folder this week for a flyer (students accompanied by a paying adult are admitted into the game with the presentation of the flyer).
