Reminder: Back to school night

Back To School Night is an opportunity to meet Cedar Lane teachers and faculty, get an idea of your student's daily schedule and walk the building.  You will walk your students class schedule and meet all their teachers.  

BTSN will be on Thursday, September 2nd and starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm.  

You must wear a mask to attend, regardless of vaccination status.

Please read the following FCPS Health Screener, if you answer YES to any of the questions, please do not come to BTSN.

Health Screening Questionnaire COVID-19 Health Screening Questions to be completed daily by a parent/guardian, staff member or essential visitor.  Staff and students should remain at home if ANY of the responses are “YES.”

  1. Feeling feverish and/or having chills –documented temperature of 100.4°F or higher?
  2. Has there been any use of fever reducing medication within the last 24 hours?
  3. A new cough that is not due to another health condition?
  4. Nasal congestion or runny nose
  5. New shortness of breath or difficulty breathing that is not due to another health condition?
  6. New chills that are not due to another health condition?
  7. A new sore throat that is not due to another health condition?
  8. New muscle aches that are not due to another health condition, or that may have been caused by a specific activity (such as physical exercise)?
  9. Fatigue (more tired than usual)?
  10. Headache?
  11. A new loss of taste or smell?
  12. Abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting?
  13. New onset of poor appetite or poor feeding?
  14. Have you had a positive test for the virus that causes COVID-19 disease within the past 10 days?
  15. Were you currently tested for COVID-19 because you were sick and are still waiting for the lab results?
  16. In the past 14 days, have you had close contact (within about 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19? Persons who have been fully vaccinated and are identified as a close contact to a COVID case do NOT need to quarantine if they meet the following criteria:  Fully vaccinated; ≥14 days since last dose; Asymptomatic
