Dear Whitman Community,
The school year is off to a great start! We welcomed over 900 students to Whitman on the first day. Many staff members remarked to me how polite, friendly, and safe the students have been. They are also ready to learn! Thanks to all the parents for preparing your students for a great year!
All parents are invited to attend our annual Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 31 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Parents will walk through their child’s schedule and meet the teachers. Please ask your child for a copy of his/her schedule (received in 4th period Advisory on Monday with a school map) or you can access class schedules through ParentVue. You may also take a picture of your child’s paper copy on your phone. If you do not have a copy of your student’s schedule, counselors will be available to provide it. All parents should be in first period by 6:00 PM. In addition, starting at 5:00 PM, we will be holding special Early Bird Sessions with more information about selected topics. Please consider attending these optional sessions.
