Back to School PTA Ice Cream Social
The PTA Back to School Pizza and Ice Cream Social will be next Friday, August 27 from 5:30-7:00pm on the Mantua Elementary Playground.
Tickets are $1 each, and may be pre-purchased for pizza, ice cream (pre-packaged assortment) or bottled water on the Mantua PTA site here (https://mantuapta.memberhub.com/store/items/477937).
- Ice Cream (pre-packaged assortment) = 2 Tickets
- Pizza Slice = 2 Tickets
- Bottled Water = 1 Ticket
Pick up your pre-purchased tickets at the event. You will also be able to purchase additional tickets onsite if needed.

Mantua Drama Club Planning for 2021-22
We are excited to announce that Mantua Drama Club will partner with Julie Johnston's iContact to create a theater experience for our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. As we prepare for this upcoming year, we are attempting to learn more from those interested in participating. All of our planning in contingent on approval from the County given current COVID restrictions. All is subject to change. We hope to offer a series of Fall Theater Workshops (including a final musical presentation, open to guests) and a Spring Musical production (tentatively Seussical, Jr. which is presented to the community). The meetings will likely take place immediately after school until 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (exact dates TBD - Fall roughly end of Sept to right before Thanksgiving and in the Spring mid February to mid May). An Information Session for students and parents is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 9th - 6:30 – 7:30 PM (Location TBD). Mantua student takes home first place at the 2021 US Geography Championships
On May 20, 2021, seven 5th and 6th graders from Mantua Elementary School competed in the International Academic Competition's US Geography Championships, an exam-based Geography competition. Mantua is very proud to announce that Nicholas Baxter placed first place in the nation in the Elementary Division.
