First Bell:  9:05 am                Students may enter building and go directly to class.

Second Bell: 9:15 am            Students should be in classroom at this time.

Dismissal

Please ensure your child knows what mode of transportation he/she will use to get home every day. Dismissal will start at 3:55 pm with Kiss & Ride, followed by walkers, SACC, and bus riders at 4:00 pm.

 All Kiss & Ride parents should follow the traffic pattern and the directions of the staff.  Please read below:

• Line up on Bardu Avenue in front of the school.  Do not block driveways or bus access.
• Pull forward as far as possible into the designated Kiss & Ride lanes before loading or unloading your children.
• Load and unload in the Kiss & Ride area only.
• Load and unload from the passenger's side of the car only.
• Keep good-byes brief.
• Remain in the driver's seat.  (Safety patrols and staff members can assist with car doors.)
• Do not pass other cars that are loading and unloading children.
• Do not park in the Kiss & Ride lane.
• Do not park in the parking lot or at the side of the street and call to children.
• Exit the Kiss & Ride promptly after loading and unloading children

PTA

KMES PTA will have tables set up on the blacktop at Open House on August 19 & 20.  Stop by and learn more about how you can join the PTA, support PTA activities, and purchase spirit wear.

Chipotle PTA Spirit Night 

Our first PTA Spirit Night will be at Chipotle (6230 Rolling Rd., West Springfield, VA 22152) on Wednesday, August 25^th, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. 

You can order online for pickup. Use code TZVHREE before checkout in ‘promo’ field. Orders placed online at https://chipotle.com/ or through the Chipotle app for pickup (delivery orders don’t count) using this unique code will be counted towards the fundraiser.  If you go to the restaurant to order, tell the cashier you’re supporting the Keene Mill ES PTA or show the cashier the flyer.  

 Chipotle will donate 33% of your purchase to the PTA!  Please invite your families and neighbors. 

 

Panera 6th Grade Fundraiser 

Please come support our 6^th Graders at Panera (6230 W Rolling Rd West Springfield, VA 22152) on Tuesday, September 14^th from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  You can order online for pickup.  Use the code: PRFUND or show the attached flyer so we can earn 20%.  Everyone can help raise funds for the 6^th Grade Party; you don’t have to be a 6^th Grade family!  Invite your families and neighbors.
