Welcome Fairhill's New Principal!
It is with great pleasure that we announce our new Principal, Mr. Ted Cooper. Mr. Cooper is coming to Fairhill most recently from Westgate ES as their Assistant Principal. He is a proven leader with a track record of academic success. He is able to create structures for student achievement that have allow students to thrive in a positive, inclusive, enriching and academically stimulating environment.

We are so excited to welcome him to Fairhill on August 16th.
Go Tigers!
Fairhill (in-person) Tours
We are so excited to welcome all of our Tigers back to the building this year! We know it has been awhile (if ever) since some students have been in the building so we are offering group tours to walk around the building with a staff member to help students get re-acclimated to the building. This is strictly a tour of the building to see the main entrance, library, cafeteria, gym, art room, music rooms and all common spaces. Classrooms will not be set up yet so students will be unable to see their classrooms.
The intention of these tours is to support students who spent the past school year in a virtual setting and have been away from Fairhill for a long time. These tours are for rising 1st-6th grade students only and will only last about 15 minutes. Another plan is in the works for our rising Kindergarten tigers so be on the lookout for details coming soon!
When signing up, please put student name and grade in the comment section! (One slot per family, please.)
Please sign up for a slot by clicking here.
Please reach out to Mrs. Korb if you have any specific questions!

Important Bus Ridership Survey!
On July 29, 2021, the Office of Transportation Services (OTS) will conduct a student ridership survey for all eligible riders. It is important that parents respond to the survey by August 4, 2021 and submit a separate survey for each of their children enrolled in FCPS. If the survey is not completed and returned, the student will not be added to a bus route at the beginning of the school year.
During the school year, changes to the intent form can be made with your school's SIS operator if the need for transportation changes or the survey is not returned by August 4, 2021. It may take up to five days to update transportation schedules.
This is a reminder that all students, drivers, and attendants must wear face coverings when boarding or riding on a school bus. Parents/guardians should review their ParentVue account for updated bus route assignment information after August 10, 2021.
If you have any questions, please contact the transportation office at (703)446-2050.
