UPDATE: Yearbook Distribution Rescheduled

Due to an issue with delivery from FedEx, we have had to change the distribution date for yearbooks. We are sorry for this change.  Additionally distribution is moving to the athletic hallway.

Here are the new details:

Yearbooks will be distributed on July 15 at entrance 12  at South County.

Seniors can begin to pick up books at 10 a.m., followed by any underclassmen at 11 a.m.  Distribution will be open until 2 pm on July 15.  There will be an additional distribution date on Saturday, July 17 from 10-2 as well.  Additional distribution days will be announced after July 17 if needed.  Please pay attention to the school website and KIT for more information at that time.

Online sales are closed, but there will be a limited number of books for sale at distribution. They will be sold first-come, first-served.  Books will be $85 cash only.  We will also be selling a small number of books from previous years for cash: 2020 ($50); 2019 ($40); 2018 ($30) until they run out.

If you have moved and need your book mailed to you, please send a $10 check made out to South County Yearbook c/o Jennifer Delinski, and we will mail your book out as soon as possible.

Library Curbside Checkout of Books

The library is offering curbside checkout of library books during the summer from 8am-1pm Monday-Friday! If your student(s) would like to checkout library books during the summer, they can email the librarians the books that they would like. Students can also place holds on books online directly through the Destiny library catalog linked on the school’s website. The librarians will then email to schedule a specific time for the books to be picked up.

Ms. Strong (from July 6th-16th and August 9th-20th) erstrong@fcps.edu

Please contact Ms. Strong or Ms. Romney with any questions.

Textbooks/Novels/Student Debts

Students and families can return textbooks and novels at the main office to be checked in any time the main office is open. They can also leave checks to pay for student debts, in an envelope with the student’s name on the envelope along with “Attention: Finance.” If families want to pay cash for student debts, the Finance Office will be available Tuesdays in July (13, 20, 27) from 10 am to 1 pm. The Finance Office will be able to make change and give receipts for cash payments.

Senior Portraits

The first round of senior portraits will be held in the auditorium on July 9, 15 and 16.  These appointment times are completely filled.  The next set of dates is scheduled for September 22, 23 and 24.  Seniors will be able to schedule online for the September dates starting around September 1st.  The online window to schedule typically opens 3 weeks prior to the next set of dates. We will keep seniors updated on the process through KIT and the school website.
