Chesterbrook Summer Update 7.12.21

Principal's Message

We hope that this summer has brought a time to build joyful memories, provide everyone relaxation and a time of togetherness with family and friends. While it has been a bit calmer over the past few weeks, the planning for a wonderful school year opening has been underway. It has been great to meet a few new families during registration and I'm excited to reconnect with many of our students through our summer programs beginning this week.

Our office will be open longer to support our summer programs from 8-4. If you need to stop by school for registration or another need for the upcoming year, please continue to make an appointment so we can ensure the appropriate staff is ready to support your needs. Our summer office coverage may not be able to assist with everything that may be needed.

I wanted to share with you some of the plans for our reopening and dates you can mark on your calendar. Events are planned in conjunction with FCPS countywide guidance to provide face to face opportunities while doing our best to still mitigate any possibility of illness.

Summer Quest Week 1 Kickoff Today

We are excited to kick off our summer quest camps this week. It will be wonderful to have our students and many staff back in the building. Students attending camps this summer will be required to wear masks and keep good hygiene practices in place while in programs at school.  Students will be spaced appropriately while unmasked and eating or drinking.

If you are still looking for a summer camp for your child, we have some open spots. Register by Thursday before the upcoming week.
Class descriptions and schedules are available here.
