Dive Into a Book Storytime
Wednesday Evenings
July 7th - August 11th
Grab your goggles and flippers, and join us (virtually) for Dive into a Book Storytime, this summer! Dive Into a Book will happen each Wednesday (July 7th to August 11th) from 7:00 to 7:30 pm in the LAES Dive Into a Book Google classroom. Students will hear books read aloud by members of our LAES staff on a variety of themes.

From June 28 through August 6, any Fairfax County parent may schedule a 45-minute consultation by phone or video conferencing with a school psychologist or school social worker to get the support needed to help your child. Click here to learn more.
FCPS Transitions to Schoology Learning Management System on July 1
Fairfax County Public Schools’ contract with Blackboard ends on June 30. The new learning management system is Schoology (pronounced /SKOO-luh-jee/). Schoology is a learning space that enhances communication, collaboration, and personalized learning for students, teachers, and families. Schoology will be used division-wide starting in July. https://www.fcps.edu/schoology
Parent accounts will be available in mid-August. To access Schoology, parents will need to have an active SIS/ParentVUE account.
