Good Afternoon!
As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to provide you with some important updates and reminders to help all of our students have a successful last day. Please feel free to call the main office at (703) 904-5100 with any questions.

Two Hour Early Dismissal & Grab-and-Go Lunch
The last day of school at Franklin will feature a two-hour early release dismissal. Our school day will end at 12:00 and we will follow a modified bell schedule. This schedule will be followed by our in-person and our virtual students.
A complimentary Grab-and-Go lunch will be available to all students during our dismissal at the end of the day.
Laptop Return Update
All students will need to return their FCPS issued laptops and chargers at the end of this school year. Many Franklin MS students have already returned their equipment. Below is information for families regarding additional opportunities for laptop and charger return.
Laptop & Charger Return for All Students
- A curbside laptop collection will take place on June 14th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All vehicles should enter at the Kiss & Ride parking lot entrance.
- Laptop drop-off by appointment only is available on June 15-16. Please contact Les Jones at gljones1@fcps.edu to schedule a drop-off.
Reminders for All Students
- Please remove all stickers and decals from the laptop
- When returning their laptop, all students should also return the charger and carrying case
Medication Pickup
All medication stored in the clinic must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school, June 11 at 12:00 PM. Medication left in the clinic after that time will be discarded. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian.
