Dear Poplar Tree Families,

Happy last day of the 2020-21 school year! It’s hard to believe that this is the last Paw Print of the school year. We had a great week and enjoyed seeing almost every student back in-person for our in-person celebrations. It was also great to see many students and families during the 6th grade parade. We saw a lot of smiling faces and heard a great deal of laughter this week. It was a great way to end a challenging year.

Please be on the lookout for communication in late July or the beginning of August for opportunities to tour/visit Poplar Tree as we prepare for the new school year.

We want to thank our entire Poplar Tree community for sticking with us during all the ups and downs throughout the year. We are proud of our students and proud of our staff for all their hard work.

Have a wonderful summer!

Belonging

SPOTLIGHT on Belonging:

Meet Angela Velasquez!

At Poplar Tree we recognize that equity means more than just access to programs and curriculums.  Equity means creating an inclusive learning community where each staff person and student feels like they belong.

This is the first in a series of interviews that will highlight Poplar Tree staff persons, their journey to belong and their strategies for creating an inclusive learning community here at Poplar Tree.
